Open and Affirming (ONA) is the United Church of Christ’s (UCC) designation for congregations, campus ministries,
and other bodies in the UCC which make a public covenant of welcome
into their full life and ministry to persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.

Meal On Wheels
Life’s Journey UCC is actively involved in the Meals on Wheels in Alamance County. Once a month volunteers deliver hot meals to those in the community who are in need. But it’s more than a meal…it’s contact with a person, a hug, a listening ear and much more.

LJUCC is proud to take part in Alamance Pride each year and support their mission. Alamance Pride serves the entire Alamance County, NC community and is devoted to social justice and issues of equality and equity, primarily focused on the LGBTQIA community.
